Team uSATL Mission Statement

USATL is committed to enhancing the strength and influence of SAG-AFTRA in the Atlanta Local market. We are united in the belief in the dignity and worth of our members and the work they provide.

Our mission is to improve the lives of members and their families by preserving and expanding work opportunities, educating through relevant and comprehensive resources, and empowering members in navigating their careers.

Our strength is our diversity. USATL is made up of SAG-AFTRA, Atlanta member performers that work as on-camera actors, stunt performers, dancers, intimacy coordinators, singers, voiceover artists and other media professionals. We are committed to the broadest employment and involvement of our members, regardless of race, national origin, ancestry, color, creed, religion, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, political affiliation, veteran status, gender identity or expression, age or disability.  And we are committed to solutions that most accurately represent and benefit Atlanta Local members.

Our power and effectiveness depends upon the active participation, commitment and solidarity  of our Atlanta Local members and the ongoing relationships with our local industry partners. Strong local unions exist when the membership is informed, educated and active.

In every situation, we will be guided by two questions…“How can we make our Atlanta Local stronger?” and “What can we do to build a more powerful Atlanta Local?
